Hello twig friends!

We just wanted to share some images with you of one of our newest stockists!

Lost & Found (Flinders Island, TAS) have been stocking little twig since late 2012 and we think these two girls are doing a fabulous job!

The store is located in Whitemark and run by the lovely Jana and Sophie - they mostly stock and support the work of local Islanders as well as some selected 'main landers'.
We are very happy to be a part of the Lost & Found story - here is how the girls describe their space!

Lost & Found is located on Flinders Island in the Bass Strait, Tasmania.
Lost & Found is a treasure trove of beautiful and sometimes quirky objects that have been found, grown, made and sourced.
We support local Flinders Island and Tasmanian artisans, makers and growers as well as some of our favourite mainland and European designers and makers.
Our stock includes items that are preloved, vintage and up-cycled.
We would like our shop to inspire and encourage the development of our local talent in providing the opportunity for our Island's makers and growers to sell and showcase their wares.

Over the January break one of the twig's parents visited Flinders Island and made the time to visit the girls at Lost & Found. Thank you to Jana & Sophie for welcoming the Twiggy parents! Here are some images of the space! ♥

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Twiggers! 

We have to apologise - we have been enjoying the sunshine and have had a lovely break over Christmas/New Year. Now, well - it's back to work with everything Little Twig!

We are hard at work makes some BIG and exciting decisions, there will be new stock lines (which means lots of discontinued bargains for the market bargain bin) - just quietly we are very excited about the new things we are working on and will share them with you as soon as they are in production!

We had a fabulous 2012 and wold like to take the opportunity to thank you all for supporting us in our twiggy adventure! Here are some images from the end of 2012 (in particular the Xmas 2012 range), keep an eye out for the brand new Illustrated pendant/brooches in these pics!

To market, to market - Yep twice!

Just a quick post to remind you about two fabulous local designer markets coming up!

The very lovely The Barn Market is on again - this time it will be a fun filled Christmas in July event on Friday 6th July (4pm-8pm). There will be pleanty to see and do, with fun Christmas activities for the kids, buskers, delicious food and of course some fab goodies made by talented local makers!

Long time no post.... !

The 'twiggers' here at Little Twig are very sorry... Life has been busy and here at 'LTHQ' we have been busily designing some new pieces for the range, completing our new catalogue (its live now!), building an online shop (more news on that soon) and of course working hard to keep up with life in general!


Now that that is out of the way (phew) here are some images from our recent trip to Melbourne - we popped in to visit a couple of our lovely stockists whilst we were there - I Dream A Highway, Northcote & Coupe La Femme, North Carlton. We had a lovely trip (even squeezing in some Florence & The Machine!) and can't wait to do it all again! Thank you to Shannon and the Team at IDAH, and Georgia at Coupe La Femme for your hospitality (and for letting us take these lil pics) - See you again soon!

Christmas is coming!

As always we had a fabulous day at the market last weekend and can't wait to do it all over again next month.

This year Christmas at the market is going to be bigger and better than ever, spread over the weekend of the 10th and 11th of December with different stallholders each day.  Little Twig will be there on the Saturday with loads of lovely Christmas gift ideas and cards and gift tags to match - yay!

It was a beautiful sunny weekend in Hobart and we had a fantastic time launching into 2011 with markets on both Saturday and Sunday.

Big thanks to Helen at The Barn Market and Holly & Shannon at the market for their fabulous work (as always), and to our wonderful customers - so lovely to see so many familiar faces, as well as many new ones!

A very merry Christmas market!

We had a very busy day at the the market's first Christmas market at the Masonic Temple on Sunday. It seems the festive season has definitely kicked off for another year!

Thanks to all our wonderful customers for making it a fantastic day!

New wooden brooches

Inspired by still winter mornings and clear blue skies, the newest additions to our range feature illustrated birds perched on twigs and leafy branches. 

Most of our original drawings tend to find themselves applied to various items across the Little Twig range, and these birds are no different.  They originally started out on our gift cards, but we quickly realised how great they looked engraved into beautiful timbers, brightening up our winter wardrobes! 

These ones are available in gorgeous warm red myrtle, as well as rich brown walnut.  Hope you love them as much as we do!
